Kîsisam Patisserie

The inspiration for Kisisâm came shortly afterwards. Kisisâm in my language means “she who bakes with fire”. My eyes were now wide open. This flower, plant or mushroom was suddenly speaking to me, revealing their secrets one by one, right down to how they had served my ancestors either as food or medicine. My heart and mind were on a spiritual quest. People came into my life who shared the same fundamental values and my love for local and foraged ingredients. I wanted so much to share this with others, and it led me to find my way__with pastries inspired by my native roots, I would allow people to experience this by discovering the art of native storytelling embedded in every bite!
