Mission

Croquez l’Outaouais is an initiative from the Table agroalimentaire de l’Outaouais that emerged over 10 years ago to help consumers bite into Outaouais, discover and savour local food products, and invest in our local economy!

The Table agroalimentaire de l’Outaouais (TAO) is a non profit organization that coordinates the development of the agri-food sector in Outaouais. Its board groups key actors of the regional agri-food sector. The TAO is thus a place of dialogue and exchanges.

TAO also manages the Réseau Agriconseils Outaouais and the Centre de recherche et de développement technologique agricole de l’Outaouais.

MISSION:

The mission of Table agroalimentaire de l’Outaouais, which brings together three organizations, is to orient, stimulate and support the development of a sustainable agrifood system in the Outaouais.

Concretely:

The Table agroalimentaire de l’Outaouais works towards the concerted development of the agrifood sector in the Outaouais and ensures its development through:

  • Consultations
  • Promotion
  • A range of marketing services

The Réseau Agriconseils Outaouais brings together a wide range of consulting services that meet the needs of agri-food businesses in the Outaouais via:

  • Free reception and referral to consultants
  • Support
  • Promotion

The Centre de recherche et de développement technologique agricole de l’Outaouais, which namely runs the Plateforme agricole de L’Ange-Gardien, works for the development, innovation and knowledge transfer in the agri-food sector through:

  • Research & Development
  • Support
  • Training
