100% Local Challenge

In September, we invite everyone in Quebec to celebrate the richness of our province by taking part in the 100% Local Challenge.

Let us take advantage of this period of bounty to all challenge ourselves to eat even more local food, encourage local producers and discover what nature has to offer. Join the 100% Local Challenge movement and promote your region!

Be part of the movement!

About the challenge:

The 100% Local Challenge, which started as a small individual project in the Magdalen Islands (Îles de la Madeleine) in 2015, is now a collective movement in virtually all regions of Quebec.

It is possible to participate across Quebec!

  1. Participation is free.
  2. Registration begins August 1.
  3. Check out the 100% Local Challenge Facebook page as well as regional events to find out about activities and initiatives near you!

Make your life easy and treat yourself! Order one of our 100% Local Food Box (for 4). Created in partnership with a local chef and Outaouais producers, the box includes tasty recipes and there’s also a vegetarian option! What a great way to take part in the Local Food Challenge (Défi 100% local) #defijemangelocal.
