Maple Floss «EGGNOG»
|Heavy cream (35%)||1 cup|
|Maple syrup||¼ cup|
|Vanilla extract||1 teaspoon|
|Maple Floss containers (per glass)||¼|
|Spiced Rum (optional)||¼ cup|
|Pinch of nutmeg|
In a large bowl, beat yolks until thick and pale. Slowly beat in maple syrup. Whisk in the milk, the cream and the vanilla. Mix in the nutmeg and the spiced rum (optional). Cover, and refrigerate for up to 1 day.
Just before serving, beat whites until stiff peaks form. Delicately put egg whites and the Maple Floss on EGGNOG.
